Speedups allow you to complete construction, research, training and healing timers immediately. Their greatest value, however, is not simply saving time—it is giving you control over when your account progresses.

Using speedups without a plan can remove that flexibility. The goal is to maintain useful reserves, spend each type on meaningful priorities and coordinate major upgrades with scoring opportunities when practical.

Construction Speedups

Construction speedups should support buildings that unlock real account progress.

Good priorities include:

  • Headquarters progression

  • Required prerequisite buildings

  • Tech Centers and Barracks

  • Your primary squad-type Center

  • Hospitals and Drill Grounds

  • Important account systems or troop unlocks

Do not rush an unimportant building simply to make its timer disappear. Before using speedups, ask what the completed building will unlock or improve.

Research Speedups

Research provides permanent benefits, and its timers become significantly longer as the account develops. Research speedups should support projects that improve efficiency, strengthen your primary squad or unlock advanced progression.

Maintain a reserve for expensive branches such as Special Forces. When possible, complete major research during Alliance Duel, Arms Race or another scoring event—but do not leave a Tech Center idle indefinitely while waiting for a perfect overlap.

Training Speedups

Training speedups help build troop reserves, promote lower-tier troops and recover from major losses. They are also valuable during troop-training events.

Use them for:

  • Filling your available marches

  • Promoting outdated troops

  • Preparing for scheduled battles

  • Replacing significant losses

  • Reaching worthwhile event milestones

Avoid spending every training speedup immediately before a known scoring day. A reasonable reserve provides both event value and emergency recovery capacity.

Healing Speedups

Healing speedups are combat supplies. Strong heroes and advanced troops cannot keep you in battle if your Hospitals remain full and your wounded troops cannot return to service.

Save enough healing speedups for:

  • Server-versus-server battles

  • Capitol War

  • Desert Storm and Canyon Storm

  • Seasonal conflicts

  • Emergency troop recovery

Your ability to heal often determines how long you can continue fighting. Spending every healing speedup on minor recovery can leave you unprepared for the battles that matter most.

Universal Speedups

Universal speedups can be applied to several types of timers, making them the most flexible speedups you own.

Use specialized speedups first whenever they can complete the same task. Preserve universal speedups for major priorities, emergencies or situations where the required specialized type is unavailable.

Once a universal speedup is spent, it can no longer be redirected to a different need. Protect that flexibility.

Stack Your Progress

The most efficient upgrade accomplishes more than one objective.

When practical, coordinate planned development with:

  • Alliance Duel

  • Arms Race

  • Seasonal events

  • Alliance goals

  • Major account unlocks

A necessary research project completed during the correct scoring window can strengthen your account, earn individual rewards and contribute points to your alliance at the same time.

Do not delay essential growth indefinitely while waiting for the perfect event. Scoring efficiency should support account development—not prevent it.

Common Speedup Waste

Speedups are commonly wasted by:

  • Rushing low-priority upgrades

  • Using universal speedups before specialized ones

  • Spending large reserves for minor rewards

  • Entering major battles without healing speedups

  • Ignoring upcoming scoring days

  • Leaving builders or Tech Centers idle while hoarding

  • Delaying necessary development for too long

Efficiency does not mean refusing to use speedups. It means spending them when the completed timer creates meaningful value.

The Key to Speedup Efficiency

Speedups should create options, not remove them. Continue developing your account, maintain practical reserves and coordinate major upgrades with useful scoring opportunities whenever possible.

SAVE FOR PRIORITIES. STACK YOUR PROGRESS. KEEP ENOUGH FLEXIBILITY TO RESPOND.
