Last War: Survival gives players many ways to gain power, but it does not always explain how those systems work together. Heroes, troops, buildings, research, gear, drones and events all compete for the same limited resources. Without a plan, it is easy to increase your displayed power without building an account that performs as strongly as it should.

The Last War: Account Building & Game Mechanics Series was created to make those systems easier to understand.

I am not a developer or a professional gamer. I am a player, just like you, learning through experience, testing, battle reports and conversations with other players. This series brings those lessons together so we can make better decisions, avoid common mistakes and continue growing together.

The complete series is divided into five Parts. You can begin with Part 1 and follow the full progression or move directly to the area your account needs most.

Part 1 explains the core systems that create a strong, balanced account.

Part 2: Heroes & Squads

Part 2 focuses on building heroes as a coordinated team instead of developing them as separate sources of power.

  • Understanding Hero Types — Tank, Aircraft, Missile and their counters.

  • Building Your First Strong Squad — Why one powerful squad matters first.

  • Hero Priority — Where to place EXP, shards, medals and gear.

  • Hero Skills — Which skills matter and why upgrade order matters.

  • Exclusive Weapons — Unlocks, milestones and team priorities.

  • Hero Gear — Gear types, promotion and blueprint investment.

  • Squad Formation — Front-row defense and back-row protection.

  • Second and Third Squads — When additional teams become worthwhile.

Part 3: Combat Mechanics

Part 3 explains why battles are decided by more than the power number shown on the screen.

  • How Combat Actually Works — Attack, defense, HP and damage effects.

  • Tank vs. Aircraft vs. Missile — Using counters to choose better opponents.

  • Understanding Battle Reports — Learning why a battle was won or lost.

  • March Size and Unit Capacity — Why troop capacity changes performance.

  • Buffs and Debuffs — Important bonuses players often overlook.

  • Wall Defense — When to defend and when to remove troops.

  • Rallies — Rally leaders, joiners, capacity and timing.

Part 4: Smart Account Growth

Part 4 helps players use rare materials and permanent account systems more effectively.

  • Power vs. Real Strength — Why equal-power accounts perform differently.

  • Universal Hero Shards — Choosing the right long-term heroes.

  • Skill Medals — Improving the skills that define each hero’s role.

  • Blueprints — Prioritizing advanced main-squad gear.

  • Drone Development — Levels, components, chips and squad support.

  • Decorations and Permanent Buffs — Building lasting account bonuses.

  • Survivors and Building Bonuses — Improving important base functions.

  • Profession Skills — Matching skills to account and alliance needs.

  • VIP and Permanent Bonuses — Long-term efficiency and progression.

  • What Not to Spend Diamonds On — Avoiding common low-value purchases.

  • Store and Currency Priorities — Finding the most valuable purchases.

Part 5: Events & Competitive Growth

Part 5 connects normal account development with events, alliance competition, seasonal play and server strategy.

  • Arms Race Explained — Scoring phases, milestones and timing.

  • Alliance Duel / VS — Scoring efficiently without wasting resources.

  • Warzone Duel — Server-wide preparation and coordination.

  • Desert Storm Basics — Assignments, movement and building control.

  • Canyon Storm Basics — Routes, objectives and coordinated teamwork.

  • Capitol War Mechanics — Cannons, rallies, occupation and reinforcement.

  • Server vs. Server Preparation — Troops, Hospitals, shields and roles.

  • Season Preparation — What to save before a new season.

  • Season Buildings and Resources — Production, resistance and progression.

  • Transfer Preparation — Tickets, destinations, eligibility and planning.

How to Use the Series

You do not need to complete every recommendation at once. Start with the system currently limiting your account.

If your heroes are strong but your march is weak, look at troops, research and march size. If your front row collapses, review formation, defensive skills and gear. If resources constantly disappear, return to Headquarters planning and resource management. If you grow well but score inefficiently, study the event guides.

The goal is not to build every account in exactly the same way. It is to understand the mechanics well enough to make choices that fit your heroes, alliance, server and style of play.

Heroes lead. Troops fight. Research multiplies. Buildings unlock. Knowledge connects them all.

BUILD IN BALANCE. INVEST WITH PURPOSE. FIGHT WITH UNDERSTANDING. GROW TOGETHER.
