Alliance Duel is often decided before the daily score even begins.

Resource banking does not mean stopping your account growth. It means planning your normal upgrades so they earn VS points, personal rewards, and permanent account strength at the same time.

Always check the live VS screen before spending major resources, since scoring can vary by server and season.

Save, Don’t Stall

Do not delay an upgrade that is truly needed for Headquarters progress, a major event, or your overall account plan. But avoid spending valuable items just because they are available.

Hold Hero Shards, speedups, resource chests, and training materials until the day where they create the most value. When there is no urgent reason to spend, timing turns the same upgrade into better rewards..

Give Every Resource a Job

A simple weekly plan keeps you from wasting resources one day before they score:

  • Day 1: Radar Tasks, stamina, drone activity

  • Day 2: Building completions and construction speedups

  • Day 3: Research speedups and Valor Badges

  • Day 4: Hero EXP, shards, Skill Medals, recruitment, and hero materials

  • Day 5: Troop training, promotions, and training speedups

  • Day 6: Shields, teleports, healing speedups, and combat supplies

The live event page is always the final authority.

Use Speedups Carefully

Specialized speedups should usually stay assigned to their matching VS day. Construction speedups belong with building projects, research speedups with science, and training speedups with troop development.

Universal speedups are especially valuable because they can solve almost any problem. Do not use them to clear every timer. Save them for a meaningful milestone, a practical reward chest, a close alliance push, or an emergency.

Prepare Ahead

Buildings, research, and troop training need planning before their scoring day.

Choose useful Day 2 buildings in advance. For Day 3, identify the next technology you genuinely want and make sure you have the gold, resources, and speedups ready. Before Day 5, know whether you are training new troops or promoting existing ones—and make sure your Drill Grounds, resources, and troop supply are ready.

Hero materials deserve patience too. Before spending shards or medals, make sure they support the squad you actually plan to use long-term.

Protect Combat Supplies

Enemy Buster can be expensive. Keep shields for offline time, teleports for coordinated movement, healing speedups for wounded troops, and enough resources to recover after fighting.

Even if you do not plan to fight, shielding protects your account and denies the opponent easy points.

Prepare Troops Before Total Mobilization

Day 5 begins before Day 5.

If you want to train new troops, make sure you have enough Food, Iron, Coin, available Drill Ground capacity, and training speedups. If you want to promote lower-tier troops, make sure those troops are ready before Friday and that your barracks setup supports the plan.

Players often save training speedups but forget to prepare the troop side of the process. They reach Total Mobilization with full Drill Grounds, no lower-tier troops to promote, or not enough resources to complete a meaningful cycle.

Resource Chests Are a Reserve, Not a Routine

Resource chests can feel like spare supplies, but they are more valuable when they remain unopened.

An unopened chest is protected. It cannot be casually spent while you are clicking through upgrades. It remains available for the moment when a planned building, research project, troop cycle, or healing requirement truly needs it.

A good habit is to open only what you need for the planned action in front of you. Then stop. That small discipline can keep an account ready for the next important event.

Use Arms Race to Stretch Your Inventory

Resource banking becomes even stronger when it is paired with Arms Race.

A planned building completion during City Building, research during Tech Research, hero development during Hero Advancement, or troop training during Unit Progression can create rewards in both events. The same resources contribute to Alliance Duel, Arms Race, and permanent account development.

Before using a major planned upgrade, check the Arms Race timer. If the matching phase is coming soon and there is enough time left in the VS day, wait for it.

The purpose is not to wait forever for perfect timing. The purpose is to make good timing part of your routine whenever it is available.

Build a Reserve for Close Matchups

Keep some Universal Speedups, Hero resources, research speedups, training speedups, resource chests, shields, and healing supplies beyond your normal weekly use. The size of the reserve depends on your account and your goals, but every player benefits from having something held back.

A reserve is not unused progress. It is flexibility. It means you can help when leadership calls for a push, complete a valuable milestone when Arms Race aligns, or protect your account during a difficult Enemy Buster day.

Final Thoughts

A strong account is not built by saving everything forever. It is built by using each resource at the right time.

Save resources because they have a better day, not because you are afraid to grow. Plan buildings that matter. Prepare research you actually want. Protect Hero Shards for the heroes you will use. Train troops with a purpose. Keep shields and healing resources ready for combat.
